Documents and Forms

Assessment list-mailed around January 1st to list vehicles etc.
Due back to Assessor's Office March 1st.

Impact Notices-notification to taxpayer that the assessed value of your real estate has increased.  Mailed the middle of June.  If you receive an Impact Notice in the mail you need to open it immediately and look at the value if you do not think that your property is worth the value that I have assessed, then you need to call or make an appointment right away.  If you wait until after July your value will not get changed until the next years taxes. Remember that the Assessor's Office determines the value of the property not taxes.

Sales letters-mailed to real estate with new ownership and the seller of said real estate on a monthly basis.  This letter and the requested information is used to update real estate and gives a better idea of market value in Cooper County.  Please return as soon as possible after you have received it.
