Public Administrator's Office
The Cooper County Public Administrator provides Guardianship and Conservatorship services to Cooper County residents who are in need of a Guardian and/or Conservator. The Public Administrator's Office serves as such when appointed by the Cooper County Probate Court. While this office will not file a Petition for Guardianship or Conservatorship for the family, often we are able to assist families by giving them information about available resources. The Public Administrator is an advocate for their clients and will work toward improving the quality of life for those under guardianship while protecting their dignity and self-respect. Making decisions should always be in the best interest of the client. The Public Administrator should function as the financial planner and manager of care. This office will comply with the statutes of the State of Missouri.
Paula Sims is the Public Administrator and has served Cooper County since 2021. |
