Marriage License/Certificate Certified Copy Requests
Proof of name change for either party due to a MARRIAGE will require a raised seal, "certified copy" of your original marriage license/certificate. (This is NOT the keepsake copy from your church or officiant) Certified copies may be obtained from the County where you purchased your license. This may differ from the actual location of your marriage ceremony. Cooper County certified copies may be purchased for $9.00, payable by check, credit/debit card or cash.
Requests may be submitted by email, phone, or in person and will be sent upon receipt of payment.
